This Round Table Discussion is organized as part of the event that launches the partnership between AIM and PDRF. Through the partnership, both institutions aim to create a learning space that can hone and further strengthen the capabilities of various stakeholders in navigating disaster and crisis contexts.

A flagship certificate program on business and service continuity management designed for private sector organizations (especially MSMEs), public sector organizations and NGOs is co-developed by both institutions through this partnership. The three-module program will be launched in September 2021.

The objectives of the RTD are three-fold:

1. To contribute to the ongoing public discourse regarding the effects of the pandemic on different types of organizations, with emphasis on the lessons learned regarding how BCPs/SCPs may be leveraged to ensure effectiveness and sustainability of organizational operations.

2. To provide an overview of the key themes that will be fleshed out in the upcoming certificate program, as well as highlight the role of the invited experts in the said program; and

3. To reinforce the advocacy on continuous learning and capability-building of current and future leaders who navigate disaster and crisis contexts.
