Program Overview

Today’s volatile world is ever challenging, with resource scarcity and volatile environment brought about by the pandemic, intense competition, and rapidly changing customer, business, and employee behaviors. To survive and navigate through this terrain, a company must rely on the capabilities and skills of its talent pool to solve profitability, growth and cost issues and problems.

The 68-hour AIM Certification Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (AIM-CLSSGB) is an enhanced version of the traditional Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB). In addition to the core LSSGB knowledge, this program integrates project management and makes use of AIM’s Case Study method to help develop the participants’ critical, creative, and systems thinking towards process improvement initiatives in their organizations.

Case Studies

  • These are Harvard Business Case studies of various industries like manufacturing, hospital services, retail, logistics, etc., to reflect and develop insights from successful Lean Six Sigma implementation dynamics.
  • While AIM Lean Six Sigma Green Belt stands above similar Green Belt training, we make sure to leverage AIM’s core competency, which is critical, creative, and systemic thinking. It is for the same reason that we are incorporating not just the typical tactical and operational problem-solving using Lean Six Sigma but as well as the strategic side of it through the use of actual case studies from various industries to reflect and develop insights from the dynamics of successful Lean Six Sigma implementation.
  • AIM has used case studies in its Lean Six Sigma program like Lean Six Sigma for Business Leaders, Green Belt Certification Training, and Black Belt Certification Training.

The AIM-CLSSGB of 68 hours (i.e., 17 half-day sessions) will be facilitated by 2-3 MBB instructors who bring their combined 50 years of solid experiences from various industries and organizations to the table.

Key Benefits
  • Candidates will have already started an approved project following the Lean Six Sigma approach.
  • Candidates will be able to demonstrate, using the Green Belt project storyboard, the outputs of each of the DMAIC phases (as in the above topics)
  • During coaching and project defense, candidates can demonstrate their critical, creative, and system thinking and their stakeholder and change management capabilities.
  • It is expected that a GB project must be finished within six (6) months and will then be awarded a Green Belt certification.
